A Star A Day

For a brief time in the summer of 2016 we lived at the crossroads of Hollywood. Our apartment was above the Walk of Fame. I thought it fitting to do a daily tribute to the stars I didn’t immediately recognize. I started a personal historical journey through Hollywood via it’s forgotten stars. This photographic essay was accessed from the ‪#‎astaraday‬ on IG. This was the last star I posted:

The Hollywood Walk of Fame comprises more than 2,500 five-pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the sidewalks along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and three blocks of Vine Street in Hollywood. The stars are permanent public monuments to achievement in the entertainment industry, bearing the names of a mix of actors, musicians, directors, producers, musical and theatrical groups, fictional characters, and others.
